For many, investing is synonymous with a more comfortable future, but for others, it is simply a reserve for emergencies. The subject of investments is still unknown to many people, who even try and make an effort to understand it, but because of its variety, it ends up becoming a highly complex subject. Allied with this is the everyday life of people who sometimes end up not having any money to invest (or to make available in aggressive investments with the possibility of losing it) due to their household bills or even debts. In this sense, this project applied a survey to people of different ages, who were then categorized into generations, so that we could understand how each of the generations behaves when it comes to investments and be able to compare the behavior of the baby boomers X, Y, and Z generations. Thus, 97 people took part in this project, where it can be seen that both the level of debt and the level of default are relatively zero, since, even though the participants expressed having debts, these are not the factors for the participants not to have more aggressive investments, this result is because, regardless of the generation, the participants do not feel confident in investing their savings in high-risk investments, being only comfortable with more conservative investments, short to medium term and with guaranteed profitability, which concludes the objective this project
