A poética verbivocovisual de Arnaldo Antunes

Resumo: This research has the objective to study the poetry of Arnaldo Antunes, with emphasis on some selected poems from the anthology Como é que chama o nome disso. This work aims to see how words become part of their sounds and images that can be built from the poems of this author, in part verbivocovisual. In order to verify these aspects, is intended to examine in some poems as these elements are used from the main instrument of poetry: a word. Word that takes shape in images, which is verbalized and set to music and need to occupy other media, creating new meanings for its participants: poet, reader, viewer and listener. To develop this work were considered the following questions: what are the meanings of words, sounds and images employed in the poetry of Arnaldo Antunes? How the read of this poetry can be experienced by participants? The work and the author to be studied are presented in the Introduction. In developing the analysis of the poems point to the elements of image, sound and word identified as research subjects. The analysis is concluded with a chapter in which the human body is considered as a means for the first and last manifestation of poetry integrated with elements of sound and image. The theoretical framework that assists the research was based on the Theory of Concrete Poetry, formulated by Décio Pignatari and the brothers Augusto and Haroldo de Campos, in addition to the theorists and poets Ezra Pound and Octavio Paz on the word as a poetic significance. The involvement of voice in poetry had contribution from the considerations of the medievalist Paul Zumthor. The poetics of Arnaldo Antunes also receives influences of Brazilian modernist movement promoted the Week of Modern Art in 1922. His work represents an art that chooses to experiment with various elements to compose a poetic multifaceted

Nesse trabalho pretende-se constatar como palavras integram-se aos seus sons e às imagens que possam ser construídas a partir de poemas desse autor, em âmbito verbivocovisual. Com o intuito de verificar esses aspectos apontados, pretende-se analisar em alguns poemas como esses elementos são empregados a partir do principal instrumento da poesia: a palavra. Palavra que toma forma em imagens, que é verbalizada e musicada e tem necessidade em ocupar outros meios, gerando novos sentidos para seus participantes: poeta, leitor, observador e ouvinte. Para o desenvolvimento desse trabalho foram consideradas as seguintes questões: quais os sentidos de palavras, sons e imagens empregados na poesia de Arnaldo Antunes? Como a leitura dessa poética pode ser experimentada por seus participantes? A obra e o autor a serem estudados são apresentados na Introdução. No desenvolvimento as análises dos poemas apontam para os elementos da imagem, do som e da palavra identificados como objetos de pesquisa. As análises são encerradas com um capítulo em que o corpo humano é considerado como meio primeiro e último para a manifestação da poesia integrada aos elementos sonoros e imagéticos. A fundamentação teórica que auxilia a pesquisa foi baseada na Teoria da Poesia Concreta, formulada por Décio Pignatari e os irmãos Augusto e Haroldo de Campos, além dos poetas e teóricos Ezra Pound e Octavio Paz sobre a palavra enquanto significação poética. A participação da voz na poesia teve contribuição das considerações do medievalista Paul Zumthor. A poética de Arnaldo Antunes recebe ainda influências do movimento modernista Brasileiro promovido na Semana de Arte Moderna em 1922.
