Resumo: Every democratic state must protect the right to privacy and to private life. An individual is only free if he has the ability to determine who can interfere in his privacy and his private life. Along with winning the right to freedom and equality, in recent centuries, popular achievements also guaranteed the legal protection of privacy and private life. However, in Brazil, the legal treatment of the subject has been shown to be insufficient, and is disproportionate considering the importance of these legal rights and the seriousness of the injuries that can be caused to them.
