Resumo: | The eletronic games arose from the computer science studies due to the computer invention. They are technological improvements of common and non-eletronic games, such as board or card games, which existed since the beginnings of humankind, and whose creation had several purposes as survival, education and entertainment. The videogames started to be developed in the 40’s, being produced for the domestic use just from the 70’s. Currently, the games industry is more profitable than the cinematographic and phonographic industries together, providing an increased investment in the area. Since then, new technologies began to be developed, enabling the creation of increasingly realistic and interesting games in aesthetic and narrative terms. Due to the human need to tell stories, many games focus on their storytelling, which started to being experienced by a new character, the gamester or interactor, who decides the story courses. Therefore, the interactivity was inserted in the narrative too, thus giving rise to the concept of interactive storytelling, of which there already were indications even before the digital revolution. This senior paper intends to explore the interactivity as a narrative tool of the videogame, from the creation of an eletronic game, whose player decides the story routes. Its objectives are to study the interactive storytelling in games; to provide continuity for the discussion about that; to bring interlocution contributions to the studies in the area; among others. The paper was carried out in steps: creation of the script and the visual identity; elaboration of a flowchart of the game routes; illustration of the characters and the settings; choice of the soundtrack; and final programming of the game, including tests and bug fixings |

Eles são aperfeiçoamentos tecnológicos de jogos comuns, não-eletrônicos, como os de tabuleiro ou cartas, que existiam desde os primórdios da humanidade, cuja criação tinha propósitos diversos como sobrevivência, educação e entretenimento. Os videogames começaram a ser desenvolvidos nos anos 40, sendo produzidos para uso doméstico somente a partir dos anos 70. Atualmente, a indústria dos games é mais lucrativa do que as indústrias cinematográfica e fonográfica juntas, proporcionando um maior investimento na área. Desde então novas tecnologias passaram a ser desenvolvidas, possibilitando a criação de jogos cada vez mais realistas e interessantes, em termos estéticos e narrativos. Devido à necessidade humana de contar histórias, muitos games focam na sua narrativa, que passou a ser vivenciada por uma nova personagem, o jogador ou interator, o qual decide os rumos da história. Portanto, a interatividade também foi inserida na narrativa, surgindo, assim, o conceito de narrativa interativa, da qual já havia indícios antes mesmo da revolução digital. Este trabalho propõe explorar a interatividade como ferramenta narrativa do videogame, a partir da criação de um jogo eletrônico, cujo jogador decida os rumos da história. Os objetivos deste trabalho são estudar a narrativa interativa nos games; dar continuidade à discussão sobre esta; trazer contribuições de interlocução aos estudos da área; entre outros.
