In modern times, the Church is challenged to be in constant monitoring of current realities, in order to continue announcing the gospel of Jesus Christ. So then, Pope Francis presents us with a new path in his pontificate, proposing a model of an outgoing Church, which goes out to meet its people in the most diverse existing realities. Evangelizing is the mission of the Church, which has been in force since primitive times until our days. The models and approaches of the proclamation were modified over time until we arrived at the current reflection in Evangelii Gaudium. The Church must open her doors, reaching out to those in need, proclaiming the saving novelty of Christ and bearing witness to his presence in our midst. To this end, all of God's people is invited by the Pope to leave their comfortable structures and go out to meet one another, just as Jesus Christ did
