Resumo: Taking into consideration the misunderstandings and lacunae in the education of cinema costume designers in Brazil, this research aims to discuss how costume designer practice may find new procedures to build coherent costume designs considering the complexity and singularities which relates body and environment from an epistemological changes perspective in the last three decades. The research was done investigating costume design discipline syllabus in undergraduate, postgraduate and extension courses in universities, as well as other courses in the area, offered in Brazil between January 2018 and June 2019. The goal was to check how body is or is not presented in formal costume design studies in the country. Its methodological basis is supported by the selection, grouping, investigation and comparison of courses and syllabus, in the discussion of body notion and in the proposition of an alternative for the creative process. The theoretical reference considers the concept of corpusmedia developed by Greiner and Katz (2005, 2010, 2016) and relations between fashion and subjectivity investigated by Mesquita (2004). The study hypothesis is that from corpusmedia concept it is possible to bring complexity to creative film design costume process through methodological procedures to start other relations between reality and fiction, movements and images, perceptions and actions

The research was done investigating costume design discipline syllabus in undergraduate, postgraduate and extension courses in universities, as well as other courses in the area, offered in Brazil between January 2018 and June 2019. The goal was to check how body is or is not presented in formal costume design studies in the country. Its methodological basis is supported by the selection, grouping, investigation and comparison of courses and syllabus, in the discussion of body notion and in the proposition of an alternative for the creative process. The theoretical reference considers the concept of corpusmedia developed by Greiner and Katz (2005, 2010, 2016) and relations between fashion and subjectivity investigated by Mesquita (2004). The study hypothesis is that from corpusmedia concept it is possible to bring complexity to creative film design costume process through methodological procedures to start other relations between reality and fiction, movements and images, perceptions and actionsConsiderando que existem lacunas e desentendimentos que marcam a formação dos figurinistas de cinema no Brasil, esta pesquisa visa discutir como a prática do figurinista poderia encontrar novos procedimentos para construir figurinos coerentes com a complexidade que singulariza as relações entre corpo e ambiente a partir de mudanças epistemológicas que marcaram as últimas três décadas. Para tanto, foram investigadas ementas de disciplinas de figurino vinculadas a cursos universitários, pós-graduação e extensão, assim como cursos livres, oferecidos em território nacional entre janeiro de 2018 e junho de 2019. O objetivo foi verificar de que modo a questão do corpo está ou não presente nos estudos formais de figurino no Brasil. A base metodológica apoia-se na seleção, agrupamento, investigação e comparação dos cursos e ementas, na discussão da noção de corpo e na proposição de uma alternativa para o processo criativo. O referencial teórico considera o conceito de corpomídia desenvolvido por Greiner e Katz (2005, 2010, 2016) e as relações entre moda e subjetividade investigadas por Mesquita (2004). A hipótese lançada é a de que a partir da concepção de corpomídia é possível complexificar os processos de criação dos figurinistas de cinema, por meio da constituição de procedimentos metodológicos com aptidão para ativar outras relações entre realidades e ficções, imagens e movimentos, percepções e açõesFundação São Paulo - FUNDASPapplication/pdfhttp://tede2.pucsp.br/tede/retrieve/51202/Joana%20Imparato.pdf.jpgporPontifícia Universidade Católica de São PauloPrograma de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Comunicação e SemióticaPUC-SPBrasilFaculdade de Filosofia, Comunicação, Letras e ArtesTrajesVestuário na arteFigurinistasCostumeClothing and dress in artCostume designerCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::COMUNICACAOCorposmídia em traje de cena: desafios para criar/pensar/mover figurinos e figurinistas no cinemaCorpusmedia in stage clothes: challenges to design/think/move film costume design and designerinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da PUC_SPinstname:Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP)instacron:PUC_SPTEXTJoana Imparato.pdf.txtJoana Imparato.pdf.txtExtracted texttext/plain169814https://repositorio.pucsp.br/xmlui/bitstream/handle/22866/4/Joana%20Imparato.pdf.txt9ad39eda91c350125066c0ce619d560aMD54LICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
