This paper aims to clarify the universe of administrative procedures that can be performed in the People General Register Officers in light of current legislation, especially the Law 6.015/73, Standards of Service Magistrate General Court of the State of São Paulo, and the Provisions of the National Council of Justice. The theme becomes relevant today as the judiciary is at the limit of his capacity for work, the enormous amount of litigation necessarily requiring judicial solution, driving the search for new solutions to solve the problems of the population. Without compromising the legal certainty would record, the administrative procedures-judicial or administrative and ministerial, under the careful supervision of qualified professional duty to exercise the delegation, reveal a speedy and effective in the correction and alteration of public records. These procedures appear as an important tool in the process of reducing bureaucracy, freeing up more and more the way to solve jurisdictional conflicts where there is litigation or demanding evidence
