Resumo: This study assesses the influence of social determinants on the Elderly's Mental Health, analyzing four domains: physical capacity, psychological well-being, social relationships and the environment in which the individual is inserted. This is a cross-sectional, exploratory-descriptive study, with a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach, using the WHOQOL-Bref questionnaire on perception of quality of life (QOL). It concludes aspects that say a lot about a person's life, and in health and quality of life, there is a need to offer better resources on the part of the sector's policies.

Se trata de un estudio transversal, exploratorio-descriptivo, con abordaje mixto cualitativo y cuantitativo, utilizando el cuestionario WHOQOL-Bref sobre percepción de la calidad de vida (CV). Concluye aspectos que dicen mucho sobre la vida de una persona, y en salud y calidad de vida, existe la necesidad de oferta de mejores recursos por parte de las políticas del sector.O presente estudo avalia a influência dos determinantes sociais na Saúde Mental do Idoso, analisando quatro domínios: a capacidade física, o bem-estar psicológico, as relações sociais e o meio ambiente que o indivíduo se insere. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, exploratório-descritivo, de abordagem mista, qualitativa e quantitativa, através do questionário de percepção da qualidade de vida (QV) WHOQOL-Bref.
