Resumo: Grand-parents have been subject of studies for already some time, but as people are getting older, great-grand-parents become to emerge at children lives horizon. This exploratory study is part of a bigger one where children were asked about the meaning of their family members, including theirs great-grand-parents. One general conclusion is some great-grand-parents may already be in the traditional place of grand-parent, for instance, giving support and caring.

Este estudo exploratório é parte de um estudo maior em que se perguntou às crianças sobre sua definição dos membros da família, inclusive de bisavós.
