Resumo: This text focuses on biographical data, on the content of the Author’s poetry, on the theme that gives it its title and, lastly, on two cycles of numbered poems, one concerning verticality, the other horizontality. While always seeking to speak for the poet, attention is drawn to the quality and originality of the Work, the manner of its composition, placing emphasis on intertextuality, in relation to both biblical texts and spiritual authors, on the one hand, and to Portuguese poets, on the other.
