Resumo: Le croissance et conduite du chêne rouge (Quercus rubra L.) sont présenté dans un systéme agroforestier au nord-ouest du Portugal avec l'application des divers techniques d'établissement et culture. L'accroissement en hauteur, diamètre et volume, et survie son analysées dans differentes conditions de développement: avec et sans tube-avri, désherbage et fertlisation. L'utilisation des tubes-avri produit un significantif croissance en hauteur (+125%) et volume (+186%), mais pas en diamètre. Problèmes de stabilité se possent avec cette technique. Le désherbage à soulement un effect positive dans le survie. Les arbres qui ont été fertilisé present un significantif accroissement en hauteur (+61%) et diamètre (+55%).
