Resumo: | The objective of this study is to assess the organization of the offer of child health actions in primary health care services in the state of São Paulo/Brazil and to analyze its integration with the care network. A cross-sectional, descriptive study conducted between october and december 2014, using the QualiAB instrument. A total of 151 services, located in 40 municipalities, were evaluated using indicators selected according to the National Policy of Integral Attention to Child Health. The higher frequencies refer to most traditional actions, like breastfeeding orientation and encouragement (108%). Actions such as syphilis (65,6%) and HIV (64,8%) testing during pregnancy; follow-up of childhood respiratory infections (56,3%) and identification and follow-up of violence situations in childhood and adolescence (37,7%) were less frequent. There is no joint work after referral to the reference services. There is access to support services for risk and social vulnerability situations (CRAS - 93.4%). It was concluded that the assessed services do not provide integral attention to child health and have limitations in the integration with the existing support network. It is important to emphasize the need to invest in the qualification of the work process and to build spaces for dialogue and agreement for networking. |
