A partir da evocação dos 500 anos da afixação das “95 teses” contra a venda de Indulgências, debateram-se, para além deste acontecimento, do seu significado e impacto, o processo histórico que dele decorreu e que culminou, por um lado, no redesenhar do mapa europeu político-religioso, e, por outro, no estabelecer das estruturas religiosas do mundo ultramarino sob influência europeia. This book brings together the texts of communications presented at the International Colloquium Martin Luther and the New Political-Religious Face of Europe that took place in 2017 at NOVA FCSH and the University of the Azores.
