Resumo: | The Portuguese language is spoken in several countries in all over the world. It is spoken in Portugal and Brazil as native language and, in the PALOP as an official and second language. So, there are a lot of differences between Portuguese spoken in the countries numbered before. The main differences refer to syntaxes, phonological and lexical aspects. In south of Mozambique, in Africa, Portuguese language is coexisting with xichangana, xirhonga, citshwa, bitonga and cicopi which are spoken as natives languages. Then, these Bantu languages are influencing direct or indirectly the speech in Portuguese in a lot of students. The differences that can be found between Portuguese spoken in South of Mozambique and that is spoken in Portugal are concerning to nominal and verbal concordance, to regency of some verbs with prepositions, to passive voice of some phrases, to some subordinated clauses, to selecting and usage of the pronouns that can be used as direct and indirect objects of the verbs. The reasons of the differences are related to the influence of natives languages, scholar degree and individual background. |
