Resumo: Brazil is experiencing an escalation of discourses that call for authoritarian measures with the supposed purpose of containing social violence. Based on the text Mineirinho, by Clarice Lispector, I discuss the ethical question that arises in the face of the permanent state of exception that was evidenced, once again, in the recent massacre in Jacarezinho. The central thesis consists in pointing out that the exception is, in fact, desired, in order to test some hypotheses for the causes of this paradox. The study is constituted in the articulation between law and literature and in the philosophy of Giorgio Agamben.

La tesis central es señalar que la excepción es, de hecho, deseada, para probar algunas hipótesis sobre las causas de esta paradoja. El estudio se constituye en la articulación entre el derecho y la literatura y en la filosofía de Giorgio Agamben.O Brasil vivencia uma escalada dos discursos que clamam por medidas autoritárias com a suposta finalidade de conter a violência social.
