Resumo: The present paper evaluate the potential damage to the pipe of the pipeline in Esmeraldas city with geological yardstick to identify critical sites and provide solutions. For development of the information available of several programs that let you view historical earthquakes in the study area, geological reports, maps of google earth, geomorphology book, documentation of the PK's to be analyzed and maintenance of this. An investigation will be carried out on the infrastructure of the Esmeraldas State Refinery and pipeline delimiting the study area. The geological characterization will be carried out where its lithostratigraphy and geomorphology will be described. The information on the historical seismicity in this area of ​​Esmeraldas will be analyzed, which may cause some secondary geological risk factor and affect the pipeline. There will be a description of the critical PKs affected by some geological risk factor and various solutions will be proposed for the critical PKs, finally the respective conclusions and bibliographic references.

Para desarrollo del mismo se dispone de información de varios programas que permiten ver los sismos históricos ocurridos en el área de estudio, informes geológicos, mapas con la ayuda de google earth, libros de geomorfología, documentación de los PK´s a analizar y mantenimiento de este. Se investigará sobre la infraestructura de la Refinería Estatal de Esmeraldas y poliducto delimitando el área de estudio. Se realizará la caracterización geológica en donde se describirá su litoestratigrafía y geomorfología. Se analizará la información de la sismicidad histórica en estas zonas de Esmeraldas la cual puede causar algún factor de riesgo geológico secundario y afectar al poliducto. Habrá una descripción de los PK´s críticos afectados por algún factor de riesgo geológico y se propondrá varias soluciones para los PK´s críticos por último las respectivas conclusiones y referencias bibliográficas.No presente artigo, realiza-se uma avaliação de potenciais daños da tubería del poliducto no cantão Esmeraldas com critérios geológicos para identificar sitios críticos e dar soluções. Para descobrir o mismo, se disponibiliza informações de vários programas que permitem ver os sismos históricos ocorridos na área de estúdio, informes geológicos, mapas com ayuda do google earth, livros de geomorfologia, documentação dos PK´s a analisar e manter este . Se investigará sobre a infra-estrutura da Refinaria Estatal de Esmeraldas e poliduto delimitando a área de estúdio. Se realizará a caracterização geológica e se descreverá sua litoestratigrafia e geomorfologia. Se analisar a informação da sismicidad histórica nestas zonas de esmeraldas, o cual pode causar algum fator de riesgo geológico secundário e afetar o poliduto.
