Resumo: The objective of this study is to analyze, through an Integrative Review, the process of adapting online medical education at graduation, pointing out similarities and differences between countries with different Human Development Index. At the end of 2019, the biggest challenge of the 21st century came to light, reaching the world with COVID-19, high contagion and little information, social isolation measures and new forms of teaching had to be adapted because teaching was essential. Medicine is mostly a practical course, physical contact between students and patients is essential for the development of essential skills. In view of the points raised in the research literature, the consensual would be the application of a hybrid teaching method - online and face-to-face with a view to optimizing time and breaking geographical barriers, despite the importance of clinical practice.
