PROFILE OF GRADUATES IN MATHEMATICS DEGREE: AN ANALYSIS FROM ENADE’S DATA (2005-2017)

Resumo: This article presents a documentary study that aims to analyze the profile of undergraduate students in Mathematics, taking into account the date from the Mathematics Enade, from 2005 to 2017. Based on the content analysis, an inventory composed of five elements was created textual, which were treated and analyzed through two classifications (categories).Therefore, it was sought in its five editions - 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014 and 2017 – to show, under the theoretical lens of the studies of Gender an Mathematical Education, which is the profile of the woman who was inserting in the referred course, taking into account it counts the amount, age, color/race/ethnicity, parental education (mother and father) and type of course completed in high school. The results of this research indicate that the Enade Reports adopt the concepts of “gender” and “sex” as synonyms. In addition, they also point out that, there is a predominance of white women in the courses, with an average age of 18 years to 24 years, with few financial resources and, finally, with parents (mother and father) schooled up to the Early Years of Elementary School.

A partir del análisis de contenido, se elaboró un inventario conformado por textos com elementos, los cuales fueron tratados y analizados a través de dos clasificaciones (categorias). Asi, em sus cinco ediciones – 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014 y 2017 – se buscó mostrar, bajo el lente teórico de los estúdios de Educación em Género y Matemáticas, cuál es el perfil de uns mijer que se encontraba ingressando al citado curso, teniendo em cuenta la cantidad, edad, color/raza/etnia, educación de los padres (madre y padre) y tipo de curso completado em la escuela secundaria. Los resultados indican que los Informes Enade adoptan los conceptos de género y sexo como sinónimos. Además, los datos también revelan que existe um predomínio de mujeres blancas em los cursos, com uma edad promedio de 18 a 24 años, com escasos recursos económicos y, finalmente, con padres que habían sido educados hasta los Primeros Años de Primaria Colegio.O presente artigo apresenta um estudo documental que tem por objetivo analisar o perfil das licenciandas em Matemática, levando em consideração os dados do Enade de Matemática, no período de 2005 a 2017. A partir da análise do conteúdo foi criado um composto por cinco elementos textuais, que foram tratados com as duas classificações (categorias). Sendo assim, buscou-se em suas cinco edições - 2005, 2008, 2011, 2014 e 2017 - evidenciar, sob a lente teórica dos estudos de Gênero e Educação Matemática, qual o perfil de mulher que estava se considerando no curso, tendo em conta a quantidade, idade, cor / raça / etnia, escolaridade dos pais (mãe e pai) e tipo de curso concluído no Ensino Médio. Os resultados indicados que os Relatórios do Enade adotam os conceitos de gênero esexo como sinônimos.
