Resumo: This objective is relate the results of validity and farm perceptions of Embrapa’s technologies on crop- -livestock systems of small-land holders, in the Rio Grande do Sul (RS) state. Brazil, during 2009/10. Twenty one units were conducted in several environments of RS. These units were installed in small land farms selected by Emater (Regional Extension Agency). The plots, from 500 to 5,000 m2 each where were tested three summer annual grasses, corn (Zea mays L.) cv. BRS 1002, sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench] cvs. BRS 610 and BRS 800, and pearl millet [Pennisetum americanum (L.) Leeke] cv. BRS 1501, on strip of land to facilitate the contrast by farmers and experts. The plots were conducts by local extension agents of Emater in addition to Embrapa ́s agents. Field days and radio programs were done to disseminate the results from validation plots. Estimates were related by farmers. The better results for sorghum than pearl millet and maize. However, the three genotypes were approved due to excellent forage mass accumulated.
