Resumo: Objective: To identify the quality of life of patients with acute wounds treated by the Home Care Service. Method: Quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional study, with patients treated at the Home Care Service of the Municipality of Curitiba, Paraná, from July to October 2022. The inclusion were elderly people who had acute wounds acquired during hospitalization and were interviewed after 30 days after discharge, regardless of the stage of the injury. Participants answered the sociodemographic and Wound Quality of Life questionnaires translated and validated for Brazilian culture, with analysis of absolute, relative frequency and standard deviation. Results: There were 32 elderly people who had acute wounds, predominantly male (56%; n=18), aged between 60 and 70 years old (56%; n=18) and 47% hypertensive (n=15). 60 injuries were recorded, the majority in the sacral region (27%; n=16), with an average size of 45% (n=27); presence of odor (52%; n=31) and exudate (52%; n=31). In relation to quality of life, the impact on the psychological domain (SD=1.03) and daily life (SD= 1.1) was verified. Conclusion: Clinical factors and the characteristics of the acute wound influenced quality of life, making it necessary to implement nursing care and minimize impacts.

Método: Estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo y transversal, con pacientes atendidos en el Servicio de Atención Domiciliaria del Municipio de Curitiba, Paraná, de julio a octubre de 2022. La inserción fueron ancianos que presentaban heridas agudas adquiridas durante la internación y fueron entrevistados después de 30 días después del alta, independientemente del estadio de la lesión. Los participantes respondieron los cuestionarios sociodemográficos y de Calidad de Vida de las Heridas traducidos y validados para la cultura brasileña, con análisis de frecuencia absoluta, relativa y desviación estándar. Resultados: Hubo 32 ancianos que presentaron heridas agudas, predominantemente del sexo masculino (56%; n=18), con edades entre 60 y 70 años (56%; n=18) y 47% hipertensos (n=15). Se registraron 60 lesiones, la mayoría en la región sacra (27%; n=16), con un tamaño promedio de 45% (n=27); presencia de olor (52%; n=31) y exudado (52%; n=31). En relación a la calidad de vida, se verificó el impacto en el dominio psicológico (DE=1,03) y en la vida cotidiana (DE= 1,1). Conclusión: Los factores clínicos y las características de la herida aguda influyeron en la calidad de vida, siendo necesario implementar cuidados de enfermería y minimizar los impactos.Objetivo: Identificar a qualidade de vida de portadores de feridas agudas atendidas pelo Serviço de Atenção Domiciliar. Método: Estudo quantitativo, descritivo e transversal, com pacientes atendidos no Serviço de Atendimento Domiciliar do Município de Curitiba, Paraná, no período de julho a outubro de 2022. A inserção fora idoso que apresentavam feridas agudas adquiridas durante o internamento hospitalar e foram entrevistados após 30 dias da alta, independente do estadiamento da lesão. Os participantes responderam os questionários sociodemográficos e Wound Quality of Life traduzido e validado para a cultura brasileira, com análise da frequência absoluta, relativa e desvio padrão. Resultados: Foram 32 idosos que apresentavam feridas agudas, prevalente do sexo masculino (56%; n=18), na faixa etária dos 60 a 70 anos (56%; n=18) e hipertensos 47% (n=15). Foi contabilizado 60 lesões sendo a maioria na região sacra (27%; n=16), com tamanho médio 45% (n=27); presença de odor (52%; n=31) e exsudato (52%; n=31). Em relação à qualidade de vida foi verificado o impacto no domínio psicológico (DP=1,03) e de vida cotidiana (DP= 1,1).
