HEALTH EDUCATION ACTIONS ON SYPHILIS FOR PREGNANT WOMEN: INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

Resumo: Objective: To identify scientific evidence available in the literature about educational interventions on syphilis for pregnant women. Method: This is an integrative review, carried out by searching articles in the MEDLINE/PUBMED, CINAHL, LILACS, BDENF, SCOPUS, Web of Science, IBECS databases, and in the following libraries: COCHRANE and SciELO libraries. Results: The sample consisted of four studies. Of the educational actions, two were aimed at pregnant women and the other two at pregnant women and their partners. Regarding the approach strategy, two had dialogue as a method for health education, one used text messages and the other analyzed the educational materials used to transmit information. Conclusion: Educational actions are important and contribute to the prevention and control of syphilis in pregnant women. However, there is a lack of work with educational technologies on syphilis aimed at pregnant women, and further studies are of paramount importance.Abstract limited to 250 words in the same language as the manuscript. It should be structured in Objective, Method, Results and Conclusions or Final Considerations.

Método: Se trata de una revisión integradora, realizada mediante la búsqueda de artículos en las bases de datos MEDLINE/PUBMED, CINAHL, LILACS, BDENF, SCOPUS, Web of Science, IBECS y en las siguientes bibliotecas: COCHRANE y SciELO. Resultados: La muestra estuvo compuesta por cuatro estudios. De las acciones educativas, dos estuvieron dirigidas a mujeres embarazadas y las otras dos a mujeres embarazadas y sus parejas. En cuanto a la estrategia de abordaje, dos tuvieron como método de educación en salud el diálogo, uno utilizó mensajes de texto y el otro analizó los materiales educativos utilizados para transmitir la información. Conclusión: Las acciones educativas son importantes y contribuyen a la prevención y control de la sífilis en gestantes. Sin embargo, falta trabajo con tecnologías educativas sobre sífilis dirigidas a mujeres embarazadas, siendo de suma importancia realizar más estudios.Objetivo: Identificar evidências científicas disponíveis na literatura acerca de intervenções educativas sobre sífilis para as gestantes. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, sendo realizada através da busca de artigos nas bases de dados MEDLINE/PUBMED, CINAHL, LILACS, BDENF, SCOPUS, Web of Science, IBECS, e nas seguintes bibliotecas: Biblioteca COCHRANE e SciELO. Resultados: A amostra foi composta por quatro estudos. Das ações educativas, duas eram dirigidas às gestantes e as outras duas às gestantes e seus parceiros. Em relação à estratégia de abordagem, duas tinham o diálogo como método para a educação em saúde, uma fazia uso de mensagens de texto e outra analisava os materiais educativos utilizados para transmitir informação. Conclusões: As ações educativas são importantes e contribuem para a prevenção e controle da sífilis em gestantes.
