Tectona grandis is a tree species originally from South East Asia which adapted very well in Brazil. For this reason the objective of this work is to quantify the biomass and C stock in different elements of Teak tree and correlate the variables of production with the soil’s chemical properties. A forestry inventory was made by taking measures of the height and DBH of a Teak plantation at age 27 months. Afterwards, there were randomly selected 24 individuals for biomass quantification, and 10 from 24 were chosen for C quantification; additionally the soil where these trees stand was collected for analysis. The essay is divided in 2 chapters. The first chapter is about the biomass quantification, content and stock of C and the correlation in between the variables of DBH, height and DBH/height with biomass and C stock. Biomass and C stock were distinguished among the components of the trees. The results showed a higher presence in the bole and smaller in branches. The DBH and height showed higher correlation with biomass and C stock in bole, and DBH/height with roots. DBH, height and DBH/height showed lower correlation with branches and leaves. In the second chapter was analyzed the correlation in between production and the soil’s properties. DBH and height showed positive correlations with Ca/MG, H+Al, MO and Ca and negative correlation with Na. Branches’ biomass showed higher positive correlation with H+Al and negative with SB and CTC. Leaves’ biomass did not show any significant correlation with soil’s properties. Roots’ biomass showed higher positive correlation with potential acidity and negative with Mg.
