Relationships and interactions of Mathematics and Science teachers with Technology

Summary: Information Technologies and Communication signal possible changes and reform in education, it is known that the media itself, taken alone, will not influence the performance of students. It is with this belief that this study aims to investigate how the relationships  and interactions occur Teachers of Science and Mathematics with Technology. The study was a qualitative approach and the data were collected through a questionnaire administered to 57 teachers who work with the Teaching of Science and Mathematics in High School. Some of the findings were: most teachers have a friendly relationship and interaction with the computer and the internet, however the relationships and interactions with Virtual Learning Environments and Learning Objects are incipient, some teachers use technology in their work teaching; was highlighted using the Internet and e-mail, most of the teachers recognized the potential of Information and Communication technologies in  the teaching and learning, the teachers say many advantages and disadvantages to the use of technologies applied to education.

É com essa crença que neste trabalho objetiva-se investigar como ocorrem as relações e interações dos professores de Ciências e Matemática com as Tecnologias. O trabalho teve uma abordagem qualitativa e os dados foram coletados por meio de um questionário aplicado a 57 professores que trabalham com o Ensino de Ciências e Matemática no Ensino Médio.
