Multiple languages in early children education: an experience in initial teacher training

Resumo: This study aims to present and discuss, analyzing from the perspective of the student and teacher, an experience of teaching in higher education, specifically in the discipline of Early Childhood Education in the Pedagogy course in the College of Education, in the Federal University of Ceará. The experience addressed the work with multiple languages ​​under the eyes of malaguzzian pedagogy. The teaching experience contributed to the development of the instructor as a trainee teacher, especially regarding to the need to know and manage students' prior knowledge, articulating them with scientific knowledge, and listening to students. The use of audiovisual resources, such as slides shows and videos, also promoted a more active participation of the class and a more effective contact between monitor and students. The experience also provided an evaluation of the planning and promotion of the intervention, reinforcing the role of reflection in the daily practice of teaching.

La experiencia abordó el trabajo con los múltiples lenguajes bajo la mirada de la pedagogía malaguzziana. La experiencia docente contribuyó al desarrollo del monitor como profesor en formación, especialmente en lo que se refiere a la necesidad de conocer y administrar los conocimientos previos de los estudiantes, articulándolos a los conocimientos científicos, y al ejercicio de la escucha de los alumnos. El uso de recursos audiovisuales, como diapositivas y vídeos, también promovió una participación más activa de la clase y un contacto más efectivo entre monitor y estudiantes. La experiencia también proporcionó una evaluación del planeamiento y de la promoción de la intervención, reforzando el papel de la reflexión en el cotidiano de la práctica docente.O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar e discutir, analisando a partir da perspectiva discente e docente, uma experiência de docência no ensino superior, especificamente, na disciplina Educação Infantil do curso de Pedagogia da Faculdade de Educação, da Universidade Federal do Ceará.  A experiência abordou o trabalho com as múltiplas linguagens sob o olhar da pedagogia malaguzziana. A experiência de docência contribuiu para o desenvolvimento do monitor enquanto professor em formação, especialmente, no que diz respeito à necessidade de se conhecer e se administrar os conhecimentos prévios dos estudantes, articulando-os aos conhecimentos científicos, e ao exercício da escuta dos alunos. O uso de recursos audiovisuais, como slides e vídeos, também promoveu uma participação mais ativa da turma e um contato mais efetivo entre monitor e estudantes.
