Resumo: Abstract: This paper presents the biography of Adrian Cowell (1934-2011), based on the cinematographic records made in Southeast Asia and the Brazilian Amazon. Thus, it is evident its participation in different conflicts and territorial disputes facing the perverse economic models in a globalized scale. Hence, a wide review of literature and documental, evidencing his history as historian, filmmaker and citizen of the world in agreement with his books, documentaries and developed series, as well as its repercussion and translation in different countries. Adrian Cowell.Resumo: Nesse artigo apresenta-se a biografia de Adrian Cowell (1934-2011), a partir dos registros cinematográficos realizados no Sudeste Asiático e na Amazônia brasileira. Para isso, evidencia-se sua participação em diferentes conflitos e disputas territoriais frente os perversos modelos econômicos numa escala mundializada. Assim, utiliza-se de uma ampla revisão de literatura e documental, evidenciando sua trajetória como historiador, cineasta e cidadão do mundo em consonância com os seus livros, documentários e séries desenvolvidas, bem como sua repercussão e tradução em diferentes países.
