Resumo: The proposal of this essay is to understand how the values offered by Hannah Arendt about the banality of evil are still present, using as clipping the 2018 election campaign in Brazil. Arendt believed that the evil would be banal from the moment in which subjects abdicate the quality of thinking and reflecting and would reproduce previously established activities, as well as having no dimension of their behavior in the political scenario. The images are intended to elucidate that the evil remains banal and strong enough to be reverberated in different settings, while an iconological analysis.
