The learning process has been increasingly active, promoting interactive and targeted approaches to the student as an agent of their learning, enabling the conscious evolution of theoretical and practical knowledge. Among the actions for the development of critical thinking, there is the “Team Based Learning”, the Team Based Learning (TBL), a methodology responsible for promoting the exchange of information between members. Similarly, Problem-Based Learning (PBL) uses a specific problem to initiate learning and propose solutions. In this sense, this article aims to discuss the results of the use of these methodologies in the active learning of architects, with the aim of incorporating concepts already known in the scope of education and strengthening ideas from different perceptions. The use of active methodologies in the activities developed revealed that the method facilitated learning and promoted engagement among students.
