Resumo: | The objective of this paper was to study digestible lysine and methionine+cystine levels in broiler chickens of 43 to 56 days old, that received rations with 3 lysine levels (0.78%, 0.86% and 0.95%) and 3 met+cis levels (0.65%; 0.72% and 0.79%). Performance, carcass yield, abdominal fat and the chemical composition of the breast meat were not affected by lysine and met+cis. The rate of efficiency of the lysine was influenced by the lysine levels, but was not for the met+cis levels. The rate of methionine efficiency was not influenced by the lysine, but met+cis influenced this parameter. Results showed that for the performance and carcass yield; the levels of digestible lysine and met+cis, 0.78% and 0.65% could be used respectively. |

Results showed that for the performance and carcass yield; the levels of digestible lysine and met+cis, 0.78% and 0.65% could be used respectively.
