Resumo: Retrospecto acerca de algumas teorias éticas existentes, notadamente aquelas vistas pelo enfoque de Aristóteles, Kant e Habermas, filósofos responsáveis pela formulação dos três principais paradigmas éticos no Ocidente. Trata-se de análise sintética, com o objetivo principal de impulsionar uma reflexão acerca das denominadas “ética das virtudes” e “ética das normas”, ainda passando por aspectos mais atuais da matéria como foi o realizado pelo alemão Habermas, que descreve a chamada “ética do discurso, do consenso ou comunicativa”.
