Resumo: There is a worldwide trend in the the elderly population increasing. This increase is critical given that the age group of 60 years and older, statistically, concentrate chronic diseases, generating demand and dependence on caregivers. The demand for caregivers may not be met with the number of professionals in the market. Caregivers, who are family members, become overwhelmed with care activities. Ambient intelligence can be used to soften and solve the demand for elderly care. Ambient intelligence is endowed with sensors that communicate with each other in favor of those who inhabit a certain environment, is based on low-cost and miniaturized hardware and is pervasive. The kind of ambient intelligence aimed at helping people, whether in day-to-day activities or at work, is called ambient assisted living. The users of ambient assisted living, in what is presented, are the person with some functional dependency or limitation (in this case, the elderly person), the family and the caregiver. The elderly person can be characterized as someone who needs additional attention, either through frailty or a chronic illness; the family has the primary interest in maintaining or improving the integrity, quality of life and health of the elderly; and the caregiver accompanies the elderly person in their activities, whether a professional or a relative. However, criteria that involve technology users and even the intelligent environment itself should be taken into account. Particularly when checking that standards would facilitate the evaluation of ambient assisted living, comparison of solutions, exchange of information and rapid entry into the market, but it was verified the lack of standards. In this work, a systematic review was carried out in order to collect information necessary to develop and propose a guideline, or reference model, aimed at information on the theme of ambient assisted living aimed at helping the elderly people. It is hoped that with the use of the proposed guide, ambient assisted living will be developed and built, achieving the desired goals without excesses and with the knowledge of the path to be followed in order to achieve the desired goal.

Este aumento é crítico dado que a faixa etária de 60 ou mais anos, estatisticamente, concentram doenças crônicas, gerando demanda e dependência de cuidadores. A demanda de cuidadores pode não ser suprida com o número de profissionais no mercado. Cuidadores, que são membros da família, ficam sobrecarregados com as atividades de cuidado. Ambientes inteligentes podem ser utilizados para amenizar e resolver a demanda de cuidados à pessoa idosa. Ambientes inteligentes são dotados de sensores que se comunicam entre si em favor daqueles que habitam um certo ambiente, são baseados em hardware de baixo custo e miniaturizado e são pervasivos. O tipo de ambiente inteligente voltado para o auxílio de pessoas, seja em atividades do dia a dia ou no trabalho, é chamado de ambiente assistido. Os usuários de ambientes assistidos, no que é apresentado, são a pessoa portadora de alguma dependência ou limitação funcional (no caso, a pessoa idosa), a família e o cuidador. A pessoa idosa pode ser caracterizado como alguém que necessita de uma atenção adicional, seja pela fragilidade ou por ser portador de uma doença crônica; a família possui o principal interesse de manter ou melhorar a integridade, qualidade de vida e a saúde da pessoa idosa; e o cuidador acompanha a pessoa idosa em suas atividades, podendo ser um profissional ou um familiar. Entretanto, critérios que envolvem os usuários da tecnologia e até mesmo o próprio ambiente inteligente devem ser levados em consideração. Principalmente ao se averiguar que normas e padrões facilitariam a avaliação dos ambientes assistidos, a comparação de soluções, a troca de informações e a rápida entrada no mercado, porém foi verificado a falta de uso dos mesmos. Neste trabalho, foi realizado uma revisão sistemática, com o intuito de coletar informações necessárias para desenvolver e propor um guia, ou modelo de referência, voltado à informação sobre o tema de ambientes assistidos voltados ao auxílio da pessoa idosa.
