In the affirmative of the Russian formalism that the literary work is a group of deviations of the norm, a linguistic violence and a meeting of artifices that it endows the literary text of a capacity " deformation " of the common language, we found the road for us to give beginning our incursion on the study of the presence of the literary language in the journalistic text and of the existent connections among those two fields (literature and journalism) inside an only textual space: the report. In the analysis of journalistic reports and the author's literary stories we identified the convergence among those two fields of the knowledge in Nelson Rodrigues' prose.
