This research aims to analyze the life of a man based on his notes in his personal journals. It is understood that knowing the author from his note entries, his writing experience and his everyday life can also help you understand the writing in recognition of the author and its subjectivity. Furthermore, it is understood that there is a relevancy of singular narrative for the reconstitution of historic, social and cultural processes. For this study, it basis on how the author reports the aspects of his work, his family and his political experiences, which are displaying in everyday writing in his journals. The study object of this job is a set of twelve journals. The author is Brazilian, he was born in 1911 and died in 1988. He was bailiff, a position which at the time had responsibility for cleaning the city's Forum, the order of service, delivery warrants and other small services that allowed him around the city following the daily episodes. The notes are based on the range 1938 to 1988 and dealing with events from the city where the author lived, from Brazil and also from world events. The qualitative methodological approach used was the biographical method that prioritizes written text, and helps understand life as it is reported and interpreted by the actor himself. Under the biographical method was used document research, given that the object of study is a set of documents that were investigated, handled, and the information obtained were subsequently analyzed. The journals were understood as narrated stories of a life marked by small details or great events, pervaded by disorder and incoherence of everyday life. It was observed that a single path reconstructing also means know a network of relationships from the uniqueness of idea, with different time table, relationships and affiliations that concerns on those who write, those who rewrites and the ones that writes about themselves
