The Torah with its literature constitutes historically rich material, revealing human actions capable of investigation by the historian. Some studies concerning materiality enable intercultural understanding between the Levant and Canaanite communities such as the province of Avaris, where excavations revealed an impressive Canaanite cemetery, and the mural painting by Beni Hassan that depicts the visit of thirty-seven Semites to the sixteenth name of the Ancient Egypt early Middle Kingdom. Sociocultural elements of the text that approximate these archaeological findings from the Bronze period, together with the theoretical concept of the transition of the body as attributes of rites of passage, within its context of production and retroprojections, there are pertinent issues to be analyzed through comparative studies and interdisciplinary; as we can see in the Burial of Yaaqobh (one of the patriarchs of Judaism) who was buried within the polytheistic precepts of mummification, Now, since Judaism is a culture closed on the principles of monotheism, what are the political and economic implications that may permeate this paradigm shift endorsed in the documentation? The perspective of a global and connected history helps us search in the back projections of the text, along with studies of some cases that demarcated the Semitic presence in the lands of the Pharaohs, associated with burial rites; making it a useful dissertation for understanding contemporary archaeological material between Ancient Egypt and Ancient Palestine.
