Resumo: Since 2019, the world has been under the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this virus having caused the deaths of millions of people, the logic of Capital sees this fact, above all, as the genesis of the current crisis in the world economy. About this, in this article, with the support of Karl Marx's ideas, we will address the possible effects of the Coronavirus on the logic and powers of the current and hegemonic mode of production in the world: the capitalist. The logic of Capital, in the Marxian perspective, is a set of principles, ideas, values and practices that underlie Capital as the omnimode managerial power of thinking, being and doing of men who live in society. This condition of Capital implies political oppression, intellectual and moral alienation, and especially economic exploitation in the capitalist world of work. We chose this last aspect as the objective of this writing. We will highlight, under a Marxist philosophical bias, what we understand to be the likely effects of the crisis caused by Covid-19 on work governed by the logic and powers of Capital. It is a fact that this logic and such powers have been shaken by the Coronavirus crisis. However, did these shocks generate some fissures? And these, chaos exists, have the potential to destabilize the logic and powers of Capital, or will it be able to metamorphose itself to escape the crisis unscathed and still potentiate itself as an ordering power of sociality?

Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte - UERN2023-10-09info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://periodicos.apps.uern.br/index.php/RTF/article/view/544410.25244/tf.v16i1.5444Trilhas Filosóficas; v. 16 n. 1 (2023): Trilhas Filosóficas: Dossiê Ética e Cidadania (v.16, n.1, 2023); 65-811984-556110.25244/tf.v16i1reponame:Trilhas Filosóficas (Online)instname:Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (UERN)instacron:UERNporhttps://periodicos.apps.uern.br/index.php/RTF/article/view/5444/3944Copyright (c) 2023 Antonio Diashttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessDias, Antonio 2023-11-29T14:28:00Zoai:ojs2.periodicos.apps.uern.br:article/5444Revistahttp://periodicos.apps.uern.br/index.php/RTF/indexPUBhttp://periodicos.apps.uern.br/index.php/RTF/oaitrilhasfilosoficas@uern.br || marcos_erico@yahoo.com.br10.25244/tf1984-55611982-7490opendoar:2023-11-29T14:28Trilhas Filosóficas (Online) - Universidade do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte (UERN)false
