Resumo: The current paper has as purpose to investigate the catharsis experience as elementary principleof aesthetic object receipt in G. Lukács. Based on the understanding that there is a dialecticalunity between the subject and the object in the constitution process of aesthetic production, weenter in the investigation of the possibility of relationship between aesthetics and ethics. Thedevelopment of the links and categories which pervade the current text stems from thecomprehension that, first, any attempt of reconstitution of the articulation elements betweenaesthetics and ethics should consider the existent differentiations in its essentialness; second, therelationship of the referred complexes falls only as a possibility underlying the realm of thereceipt of the piece of art; third, this relation is immanent to the piece of art in the way that itsprings from the conditions posed by the mediation as an immediate reality.

Lukács. Ao partir do entendimento de que existeuma unidade dialética entre sujeito e objeto no processo de constituição da produção estética,adentra-se na investigação da possibilidade de relacionamento entre estética e ética. Odesenvolvimento dos nexos categorias que perpassam o presente texto baseia-se na compreensãode que qualquer tentativa de reconstituição dos elementos de articulação entre estética e eticidadenão pode desconsiderar as diferenciações existentes em sua essencialidade e que orelacionamento dos referidos complexos se inscreve tão somente como uma possibilidadesubjacente ao reino da recepção da obra de arte.
