The Ceasas in the context of the restructuring of the brazilian territory

Resumo: The Ceasas, are one of the points or places that have promoted the restructuration of an economic, political and cultural sector, especially to the circulation of horticultural crops and fruits in Brazil. The Ceasas thus form a network that generates a circulation network of fruits, legumes and vegetables, which restructures, reshapes and promotes news functions in the territory. In this context, this article has as main objective the show of function of the Central Food Suply (Ceasas) of the Brazilian territory. The methodological methods used were: literature review in books, theses, dissertations, monographs and articles; a documentary research with the Brazilian Association of Central Food Supply (Abracen). In addition, a case study of the Central Food Supply of the State of Rio Grande do Norte (Ceasa-RN) and a restructuration of the food"™s circulation in territory. The results of Ceasas were responsible for a restructuring of the circulation of fruits, legumes and vegetables in Brazil. This is perceptible the case of the Ceasa-RN that supplies hypermarkets, wholesale supermarkets and supermarkets retailers, beyond the periodic markets from Natal and metropolitan region, since the 1970s. The understanding of the Central Food Supply serves for the planning of the circulation of horticultural crops and fruits in the Brazilian territory and specifically in the territory of Rio Grande do Norte.

Las Ceasas forman así­ una red que genera una red de circulación de frutas, legumbres y hortalizas, que reestructura, remodela y promueve las funciones de noticias en el territorio. En este contexto, este artí­culo tiene como principal objetivo la demostración de la función del Centrales de Abastecimiento de Alimentos (Ceasas) del territorio brasileño. Los métodos metodológicos utilizados fueron: revisión de literatura en libros, tesis, disertaciones, monografí­as y artí­culos; una investigación documental con la Asociación Brasileña de Centrales de Abastecimiento de Alimentos (Abracen). Además, un estudio de caso del Centrales de Abastecimiento de Alimentos del Estado de Rio Grande do Norte (Ceasa-RN) y una reestructuración de la circulación de alimentos en el territorio. Los resultados muestran que las Ceasas fueron los responsables de una reestructuración de la circulación de frutas, legumbres y hortalizas en Brasil. Esto es perceptible en el caso de Ceasa-RN que abastece a los hipermercados y supermercados, allá de los mercados periódicos de Natal y la región metropolitana, desde la década de 1970. La comprensión del Centrales de Abastecimiento de Alimentos sirve para la planificación de la circulación de cultivos hortí­colas y frutas en el territorio brasileño y especí­ficamente en el territorio de Rio Grande do Norte.As Centrais de Abastecimento Alimentar S.A, as Ceasas, são pontos ou lugares no território que promoveram e promovem uma reestruturação econômica, polí­tica e cultural no território, principalmente no que tange à circulação de hortifrutigranjeiros no Brasil. As Ceasas compõem, assim, uma rede que gera uma rede de circulação de frutas, legumes e verduras, que reestrutura, reformula e refuncionaliza o território. Nesse contexto, este artigo tem como objetivo mostrar a função das centrais de abastecimento alimentar na reestruturação do território brasileiro. Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados foram: a revisão de literatura em livros, teses, dissertações, monografias e artigos; a pesquisa documental junto à Associação Brasileira das Centrais de Abastecimento (Abracen). Além disso foi feito um estudo de caso da Central de Abastecimento S.A. do Rio Grande do Norte (Ceasa-RN) e a reestruturação da circulação de alimentos no território potiguar. Os resultados mostraram que as Ceasas foram responsáveis por uma reestruturação da circulação de frutas, legumes e verduras no Brasil. Tal fato é perceptí­vel no caso da Ceasa-RN que abastece hipermercados, supermercados atacadistas e supermercados varejistas, além de feiras livres de Natal e da Região Metropolitana, desde a década de 1970.
