Resumo: principles of Chinese acupuncture. It is a practice capable of carrying out the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of physical, mental and emotional diseases through of the ear’s examination. Treatment occurs through the stimulation of auricular points, resulting in the stimulation of the corresponding area of the body by the brain. The study is an experience report, which aims to describe and discuss the experience that was to implement the teaching of auriculotherapy for medical students participating in the Academic League of Integrative and Traditional Practices in Health - LAPITS of the Federal University of Acre, during the period from February to December 2019. For medical students, auriculotherapy was of great value and only added benefits to the academic and professional lives of these future medical professionals.

Es una práctica capaz de realizar el diagnóstico, prevención y tratamiento de enfermedades físicas, mentales y emocionales a través del examen del oído. El tratamiento ocurre mediante la estimulación de los puntos auriculares, lo que resulta en la estimulación del área correspondiente del cuerpo por parte del cerebro. El estudio es un informe de experiencia, que tiene como objetivo describir y discutir la experiencia de implementación de la enseñanza de la auriculoterapia para estudiantes de medicina que participan en la Liga Académica de Prácticas de Salud Tradicionales e Integrativas - LAPITS de la Universidad Federal de Acre, durante el período de febrero a diciembre de 2019. Para los estudiantes de medicina, la auriculoterapia fue de gran valor y solo agregó beneficios a la vida académica y profesional de estos futuros profesionales médicos.A auriculoterapia é uma técnica milenar da Medicina Tradicional Chinesa (MTC), que segue os princípios da acupuntura chinesa. É uma prática capaz de realizar o diagnóstico, prevenção e tratamento de doenças físicas, mentais e de ordem emocional através do exame do pavilhão auricular. O tratamento ocorre através da estimulação de pontos auriculares, resultando no estímulo da área correspondente do corpo pelo cérebro. O estudo é um relato de experiência, que possui como objetivo descrever e discutir a experiência que foi implementar o ensino de auriculoterapia para os alunos de Medicina participantes da Liga Acadêmica de Práticas Integrativas e Tradicionais em Saúde - LAPITS da Universidade Federal do Acre, durante o período de fevereiro a dezembro de 2019.
