Resumo: The study of soil block and cement for use of fence, with multiple possibilities of traces and aggregate materials (such as the precasting process) is due to the large number of technologies and several factors that affect the performance. Considering these alternatives, this paper evaluated the performance of blocks made up of soil and cement and blocks with soil, cement and pre-cast residue, adding the partial cement replacement. A total of 12 blocks, 6 of them with a 1:2 proportion (soil/cement) and 6 with proportion 1:2 preform were used (soil/ cement + 10% residue in substitution of 10% cement). Initially tests were carried out to characterize the soil, the blocks were molded according to the required specifications and, after 28 days in curing, submitted to viability tests. So we sought to compare the results of the physical and mechanical characteristics such as the resistance to compression and absorption of the blocks. The results showed that, in relation to the absorption, both the reference and the residual blocks met the limits required by NBR 6136: 2014, which establishes absorption ≤ 10% for blocks made with normal aggregate. In relation to the compression the results were not satisfactory for the blocks with addition of residue, the NBR 15270-1: 2017 recommends 3.0 MPa for the ceramic blocks cast with vertical holes for use of fence. Reference blocks were almost in the limit 3.48 MPa, while the residual 1.37 MPa.

Diante dessas alternativas, este trabalho avaliou o desempenho de blocos constituídos por solo e cimento e blocos com solo, cimento e resíduo de pré-moldado, fazendo a adição deste em substituição parcial do cimento. Foram fabricados 12 blocos, destes 6 referenciais com traço 1:2 (solo/cimento) e 6 com resíduo de pré-moldado traço 1:2 (solo/cimento + 10% resíduo em substituição de 10% cimento). Inicialmente foram realizados ensaios para a caracterização do solo, os blocos foram moldados de acordo com as especificações exigidas e, posteriormente, após 28 dias em cura submetidos a testes de viabilidade. Assim, buscou-se comparar os resultados das características físicas e mecânicas como a resistência a compressão e absorção dos blocos. Os resultados revelaram que, em relação à absorção, tanto os blocos referenciais quanto os residuais atenderam os limites exigidos pela NBR 6136:2014, que estabelece absorção ≤ 10% para blocos confeccionados com agregado normal. Em relação à compressão os resultados não foram satisfatórios para os blocos com adição de resíduo, a NBR 15270-1:2017 recomenda 3,0 MPa para os blocos cerâmicos vazados com furos verticais para uso de vedação.
