The Indigenous professional and technological education

The aim of this paper is to establish the relationships that professional and technological education offered to indigenous peoples have with the universal search for polytechnic education, using bibliographic research as a methodology. The work is organized, firstly, in order to present superficially the origins, interpretations and concepts of Politecnia in Education, as well as to bring some historical memories essential to the understanding of the struggle of the educational community in Brazil. Subsequently, some considerations will be listed about the possibility of using the professional and technological education integrated to the high school as a crossing to a future society, which will allow an integral, omnilateral or polytechnic human formation, correlating this ideal with the possible advances of the national legislation, clarifying that such a crossing must take place universally, including the indigenous population in this struggle. Finally, we try to demonstrate that IFAM's offer of professional and technological education to the indigenous population in the State of Amazonas presents itself as a crossing for a future universal polytechnic education, dismantling the idea that EFA is always closely linked to of the capital.
