Resumo: The Revolution, for Hannah Arendt, is an event whose goal is to establish a new political body where freedom can appear. In her book On the Revolution, she analyzes and counteracts the American and French experiences, defending that while the first was a “success”, the second was a great “failure”. The aim of this article is to analyze and expose the way Hannah Arendt understood this “success” of the American Revolution.
