Resumo: This article aims to carry out a case analysis of a certain LGBTI+ representation, we will approach the commemorative material DC Pride 2022 and its representation of Superman, one of the central products of the DC Comics. Our approach is qualitative, in which we will make a reading of such material, starting from the history of American comics and how they represented LGBTI+ groups. In terms of contribution, we selected authors such as Dandara Cruz, Darieck Scott, Ramzi Fawaz, Rob Lendrum, Neil Shyminsky, among other names. Our conclusion involves seeing how even with historical advances and changes, the quality of certain materials can still be questioned, in terms of LGBTI+ representation models.

O presente artigo visa realizar uma análise de caso de certa representação LGBTI+ dentro do universo dos quadrinhos, abordaremos assim o material comemorativo DC Pride 2022 e sua representação de Superman, um dos produtos centrais da editora DC Comics. Nossa abordagem é qualitativa, em que faremos uma leitura de tal material, partindo da história dos quadrinhos americanos e de como eles representaram os grupos LGBTI+. Em termos de aporte, selecionamos autores como Dandara Cruz, Darieck Scott, Ramzi Fawaz, Rob Lendrum, Neil Shyminsky, entre outros nomes. Nossa conclusão envolve ver como mesmo com avanços e mudanças históricas, a qualidade de certos materiais ainda pode ser colocada em questão, no que tange aos modelos de representação LGBTI+.
