Resumo: What is the extent of the risks that democratic institutions face with the politicization of the police produced by Bolsonarism in Brazil? This article aims to present some elements to respond this question by analyzing the evolution of the interaction between military police officers from São Paulo on digital social networks. The data collected and observations made on social networks of military police officers demonstrate individual and institutional choices of practices and policies that oppose police workers to the democratic regime. The results indicate that Bolsonarist adherence of police officers has shifted the axis of public debate on security, with a retreat of reformist proposals and reinforcement of the militarization of crime control.
