Summary: This study propose an analysis of the webcomic Aconteceu Comigo Brazilian comic artist Laura Athayde, posted on her Instagram. The webcomic was created by Athayde from anonymous reports of women about their experiences facing various oppressions, emphasizing sexism. Stand out, for the purposes of this study, the strips that depict reports of fatphobia, beauty standards and body acceptance, health and self-esteem in relation to the body. The analysis is based on a perspective of Brazilian Fat Studies and intersectionality. We conclude that there is a legitimation of constant vigilance over fat bodies, expressed in Instagram comments, showing that the fat body is still opposite of body postivity.

La webcomic fue creada por Athayde a partir de relatos anónimos de mujeres sobre sus vivencias y enfrentamiento a diversas opresiones, con la tónica del machismo. Destacan, para los fines de este estudio, las webtiras que retratan relatos de gordofobia, presión estética y aceptación corporal, salud y autoestima con relación al cuerpo. El análisis se fundamenta en una perspectiva de los Estudios del Cuerpo Gordo y de la interseccionalidad. Concluimos que hay una legitimación de la constante vigilancia sobre los cuerpos gordos, expresada en comentarios de las personas lectoras, evidenciando que el cuerpo gordo aún es opuesto de cuerpo libre.Propomos neste trabalho uma análise sobre as tiras e comentários da webcomic Aconteceu Comigo da quadrinista amazonense Laura Athayde, postadas em seu Instagram. A webcomic foi criada por Athayde a partir de relatos anônimos de mulheres sobre suas vivências e enfrentamento à diversas opressões, com a tônica do machismo. Destacam-se, para os fins deste estudo, as webtiras que retratam relatos de gordofobia, pressão estética e aceitação corporal, saúde e autoestima com relação ao corpo. A análise se fundamenta em uma perspectiva dos Estudos do Corpo Gordo e da interseccionalidade.
