Resumo: The present paper aims at analyzing the training of field teachers in the context of the Degree Course in Rural Education (LEDOC) at the Dom Aureliano Matos Faculty of Philosophy (FAFIDAM), campus of the Ceará State University. It is a qualitative study and based on doctoral research which examines historical-dialectical materialism within a bibliographic and documentary investigation. It was possible to observe that the LEDOC/FAFIDAM contributed to the confrontation of the educational problems experienced by the peasant populations strengthening the political pedagogical project of the Rural Schools in several regions of the State of Ceará. Educational Politics.Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la formación de profesores de campo en el contexto de la implementación de la Carrera de Licenciatura en Educación Rural (LEDOC) en la Facultad de Filosofía Dom Aureliano Matos (FAFIDAM), campus de la Universidad del Estado de Ceará. Es un estudio cualitativo y baseado en una investigación doctoral, trata de abordar el materialismo histórico-dialéctico a partir de una investigación bibliográfica y documental. Fue posible constatar que la LEDOC/FAFIDAM contribuyó para el enfrentamiento de las problemáticas educativas vividas por las poblaciones campesinas fortaleciendo el proyecto político pedagógico de las Escuelas del Campo en varias regiones del Estado de Ceará.   PALABRAS CLAVE: Educación Rural. Política Educativa.O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar a formação de professores(as) do campo a partir da implantação do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo (LEDOC) da Faculdade de Filosofia Dom Aureliano Matos (FAFIDAM), campus da Universidade Estadual do Ceará. O estudo de cunho qualitativo tem como referência uma pesquisa de doutorado em andamento, apoiando-se na abordagem do materialismo histórico-dialético a partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Foi possível constatar que a LEDOC/FAFIDAM contribuiu para o enfrentamento das problemáticas educacionais vivenciadas pelas populações camponesas fortalecendo o projeto político-pedagógico das Escolas do Campo em várias regiões do Estado do Ceará.
