Resumo: This article aims to calculate the projection of the necessary financing for the expansion of Early Childhood Education in quality conditions, to attend the PNE expansion goals, in municipalities with different contexts. For this exercise, were used as a reference 12 municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. For the analysis of the necessary budget was used the Cost-Student Quality Simulator (SimCAQ), enabling the comparison between the revenue for education and the effect of the expansion of enrollments and the adequacy of the offer conditions in the financing. The results reveal the unequal financial capacity in cities so close and the need to improve financing policies so that the financing capacity of federative entities does not differentiate children's right to education. Para este ejercicio, se utilizaron como referencia 12 municipios de la Región Metropolitana de Curitiba. Para el análisis del presupuesto necesario, se utilizó el Simulador de Costo-Alumno Calidad (SimCAQ), que permite la comparación entre los ingresos vinculados para la educación y el efecto de la expansión de las matrículas y la adecuación de las condiciones de la oferta en el financiamiento. Los resultados revelan la desigual capacidad financiera de las redes municipales en ciudades tan cercanas y la necesidad de mejorar las políticas financieras para que el derecho de los niños a la educación no se diferencie por la capacidad financiera de las entidades federativas. Palabras clave: Educación en condiciones de calidad; Educación Infantil; Financiamiento de la educación básica; Planificación educativa.Este artigo tem como objetivo realizar uma projeção do financiamento necessário para a ampliação da Educação Infantil em condições de qualidade, atendendo as metas de expansão do PNE, em municípios com diferentes contextos. Para este exercício, utilizou-se como referência 12 municípios da Região Metropolitana de Curitiba. Para a análise do orçamento necessário foi utilizado o Simulador de Custo-Aluno Qualidade (SimCAQ), possibilitando a comparação entre a receita vinculada para a educação e o efeito da expansão de matrículas e da adequação das condições de oferta no financiamento.
