Resumo: This article aims to reflect on aspects of school management as an indispensable support network in aspects of educational inclusion. The study is justified by the existence of legal frameworks that address the subject in Brazil and by the challenges that schools face in the process of educational inclusion and the existing barriers regarding enrollment, access, participation, and permanence of students with disabilities in school. To fulfill the objectives of this research, it was decided to use a literature review, with a descriptive and qualitative character of textual analyses, to present a broad perspective on the subject and provoke critical and constructive reflection on the subject. The theoretical framework used is based on current legislation and authors’ analyses on the subject addressed. The information in the text was attributed during a doctoral course in education, in the teacher-student relationship in the pedagogy course at a private college in Sergipe. To understand the flow of demands from the target audience of Special Education, it is necessary to perceive and recognize the school’s attributions in the process, particularly the performance of the school manager. School management has the purpose of administration; for this, it must be ordered by identifying the needs and particularities of each sector, favoring inclusive processes in aspects of relationships and development of attitudes, methodologies, evaluation, and instruments that better include everyone in school.

El estudio se justifica por la existencia de marcos legales que abordan el tema en Brasil y por los desafíos que enfrenta la escuela en el proceso de inclusión educativa y las barreras existentes para la inscripción, el acceso, la participación y la permanencia de los estudiantes con discapacidad en la escuela. Para cumplir con los objetivos de esta investigación, se optó por utilizar una revisión bibliográfica, con carácter descriptivo y cualitativo de análisis textual, con el fin de presentar una amplia perspectiva sobre el tema y provocar una reflexión crítica y constructiva sobre el mismo. El marco teórico utilizado se basa en la legislación vigente y en el análisis de autores sobre el tema abordado. La información del texto fue atribuida durante un curso de doctorado en educación, en la relación profesor-alumno en el curso de pedagogía en una facultad privada en Sergipe. Para comprender el flujo de demandas del público objetivo de la Educación Especial, es necesario darse cuenta y reconocer las atribuciones de la escuela en el proceso, en particular la actuación del gestor escolar. La gestión escolar tiene como finalidad la administración; para ello, debe ordenarse identificando las necesidades y particularidades de cada sector, favoreciendo procesos inclusivos en aspectos de relación y desarrollo de actitudes, metodologías, evaluación e instrumentos que incluyan mejor a todos en la escuelaEste artigo objetiva refletir sobre os aspectos da gestão escolar enquanto rede de apoio indispensável nos aspectos da inclusão educacional. Justifica-se o estudo pela existência dos arcabouços legais que abordam o tema no Brasil e pelos desafios que a escola enfrenta no processo de inclusão educacional e as barreiras existentes quanto a matrícula, acesso, participação e permanência do aluno com deficiência na escola. A fim de cumprir os objetivos desta pesquisa, optou-se por utilizar de uma revisão de literatura, de caráter descritivo e qualitativo das análises textuais, de forma a apresentar uma perspectiva ampla sobre a temática e provocar reflexão crítica e construtiva sobre o tema. O referencial teórico utilizado se baseia em legislação vigente e análises de autores acerca do assunto abordado. As informações do texto foram atribuídas durante o percurso de doutoramento em educação, na relação professor aluno no curso de pedagogia em uma faculdade particular de Sergipe. Pensando em compreender o fluxo das demandas do público-alvo da Educação Especial, é necessário perceber e reconhecer as atribuições da escola no processo, em particular a atuação do gestor escolar.
