Resumo: This work aimed to understand the impact of the informal leadership on the management process and on the organizational structure. The methodology is qualitative with study case, the data collection happened with an open questionnaire that was responded for 14 (fourteen) managers and analyzed by the contain analysis technic. The management impact is present in three aspects: the importance of tools over the importance of human relations on the management work, communication noise between sectors and people, and the absence of the founders in the company on a daily bases. The structure impact happens in two moments that are against each other: the autonomy creates the need of domination and at the same time the need of fast resolutions, there for the manifestation of informal leadership is so problematic. It is concluded that management and structure impacts are harmful for the organization but coexistent on its culture, so it is self-generated.

A base metodológica é qualitativa, com estudo de caso; a coletas de dados ocorrem com questionários abertos respondidos por 14 (quatorze) gerentes e analisados com base na técnica de análise de conteúdo. O impacto gerencial está presente em três aspectos: a importância no ferramental sobre os relacionamentos interpessoais do trabalho gerencial, ruído de comunicação entre setores e constante ausência da sede física dos fundadores da empresa. O impacto estrutural caracteriza-se por dois aspectos dicotômicos: a autonomia, que gera necessidade de dominação e, ao mesmo tempo, gera liderança informal escapando da estrutura formal organizacional.
