Summary: In this article, we address the history and performance of Atelier de Artes Integradas, a school of theater and ballet in Itabirito-MG, from discussions in the political, social and cultural spheres. Critical reflections and conceptual connections were built with the school's practice, approaching the State's relations with culture, emphasizing the notion of cultural actions. It intends to evidence the Atelier as a space of reexistence and as a fruit of transformations of a cultural policy that has been sedimented in the cited municipality, from a notion of belonging of the community that makes use of this cultural equipment.

Pretende evidenciar el Atelier como un espacio de reexistencia y como fruto de las transformaciones de una política cultural que se ha sedimentado en el citado municipio, desde una noción de pertenencia de la comunidad que hace uso de este equipamiento cultural.Neste artigo, abordamos a história e atuação do Atelier de Artes Integradas, escola de teatro e balé de Itabirito-MG, a partir de discussões no âmbito político, social e cultural.
