Resumo: The work analyzed is: “Disappearing from you: A contemporary temptation”, consisting of 223 pages, and is divided into 6 chapters. Throughout this review, a reference to the various forms of self-disappearance is noticeable, given the lack of desires and the loss of perspective, that is, attempts to escape from reality. Therefore, the book brings up the concept of the word “white” and Le Breton points out the variations of this concept according to the personal exhaustion of each individual, as well as exposing ways of understanding the reason why so many people are taken by “ white ”(absence), since they seek to avoid what has become heavy in their lives. The author's focus corresponds to a question about this emotional state and how the number of adherents to such practice grows more and more.

A lo largo de esta revisión, es notable una referencia a las diversas formas de auto-desaparición, dada la falta de deseos y la pérdida de perspectiva, es decir, los intentos de escapar de la realidad. Por lo tanto, el libro presenta el concepto de la palabra "blanco" y Le Breton señala las variaciones de este concepto de acuerdo con el agotamiento personal de cada individuo, así como expone formas de entender la razón por la cual tantas personas son tomadas por " blanco ”(ausencia), ya que buscan evitar lo que se ha vuelto pesado en sus vidas. El enfoque del autor corresponde a una pregunta sobre este estado emocional y cómo el número de adherentes a dicha práctica crece cada vez más.A obra analisada é: “Desaparecer de si: Uma tentação contemporânea” sendo ela constituída por 223 páginas, e encontra-se dividida em 6 capítulos. Ao longo dessa resenha é perceptível uma referência as diversas formas do desaparecimento de si, perante a falta de desejos e da perca de perspectiva, isto é, as tentativas de fuga da realidade. Sendo assim, o livro traz à tona o conceito da palavra “branco” e é apontada por Le Breton as variações desse conceito de acordo com o esgotamento pessoal de cada indivíduo, como também expõe formas de compreender o motivo de tantas pessoas serem levadas pelo “branco” (ausência), visto que as mesmas buscam evitar aquilo que se tornou pesado em suas vidas.
