LEISURE SPACES, ENVIRONMENT AND CHILDHOOD: RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTENTABILITY FOR A TOTAL CITZENSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Resumo: The society that we living in have postindustrial characteristics, mainly due to technological development that in turn brought great social and environmental transformations.  The reflexes of these transformations can be seeing at different dimensions of people’s life, such as the lack of time and space dedicated to leisure activities, in order to increase awareness of the leisure culture.  The main focus here was to indicate a connection between children’s leisure activities, playfulness and the environment, pointing out that any unbalanced distribution between this three variables, will alter the relationship between social and natural environment, decreasing the importance of the natural resources of our cities around the planet.

Las consecuencias de estos cambios están en diferentesdimensiones de la vida humana, aquí en específico, se discuten las influencias de este tipo de problemas en el espacio / tiempo libre en las zonas urbanas para el disfrute de la cultura. El foco central de esta discusión fue señalar que hay una conexión entre  la cultura de los juegos infantiles,  el ocio y el medio ambiente, y que un desequilibrio en este trípode puede cambiar nuestra relación con el entorno social y natural que genera la falta de reconocimiento por los recursos naturales del planeta en las grandes ciudades.A sociedade em que vivemos, é configurada por características pós-industriais com destaque aos avanços tecnológicos e seus desdobramentos, os quais levaram a sensíveis transformações sociais e ambientais. Os reflexos dessas transformações estão em diferentes dimensões da vida humana, aqui especificamente, abordamos as influências de tais problemas no tempo/espaço de lazer no meio urbano para a fruição da cultura lúdica.
